CCRIF-UWI Scholarships CCRIF-UWI Undergraduate Scholarships 2025 CCRIF is offering scholarships to students entering their second of three years in any of the following undergraduate programmes of study: Mona Campus: Faculty of Science and Technology for a major in Geography; Applied Geography; GeoSciences; Geology; Environmental Chemistry; Energy and Environmental Physics; or Mathematics and Modelling Processes Faculty of Humanities and Education for a major in Geography Faculty of Engineering for a degree in Civil Engineering   Cave Hill Campus: Faculty of Science and Technology for a degree in Environmental Science Faculty of Science and Technology for a degree in Meteorology   St. Augustine Campus Faculty of Engineering for a degree in Civil with Environmental Engineering Faculty of Engineering for a degree in Land Management Faculty of Food and Agriculture for a major in Geography Faculty of Food and Agriculture for a degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Management Faculty of Food and Agriculture for a degree in Disaster Risk Resilience in Agriculture and the Environment Faculty of Social Sciences for a special management studies degree in Insurance and Risk Management Each scholarship is valued at US$4,000 per year (2nd and final year). Students must apply at the end of their 1st year. Students must be registered at one of the UWI campuses and pursuing select degrees related to DRM, civil engineering, geography, geology, environmental management etc. Students must have a GPA of at least 3.0 at the end of 1st year and this must be maintained during their 2nd and 3rd years. JWN Foundation Scholarships

The JWN Foundation, established in 2012, is J. Wray & Nephew Limited’s vehicle for giving back to the wider society. We actively play our part in ‘transforming lives and communities for a better Jamaica’ through the JWN Foundation and focus on developing the areas surrounding J. Wray & Nephew’s operations at Spanish Town Road in Kingston, New Yarmouth in Clarendon and Appleton Estate in St. Elizabeth. JWN Foundation aligns itself with the Campari Group’s sustainability strategy.

Burger King National Scholarship Award for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Students

JN Foundation Scholarships

The JN Foundation was established in 1990 as the charitable arm of The Jamaica National Group (JN Group). Our mandate is to manage and execute the philanthropic efforts of the Group, and contribute to the developmental needs of Jamaica.

Jamaica Values and Attitudes Programmme for Tertiary Students

The Jamaica Values and Attitudes (JAMVAT) Programme provides assistance to tertiary students who qualify for admission, but are financially challenged to cover their tuition cost. Access to this programme provides the opportunity for students to participate in the development of the nation’s social capital through their contribution of 200 hours of public service. Upon completing the JAMVAT programme each student should receive 30% of tuition payment not exceeding $350,000. Requirements Please provide the details of TWO (2) potential work placement sites which are conveniently located near to you, by affixing signature and stamp of the organization it indicates their willingness to facilitate your completing the required 200 voluntary hours. Only government and non-profit organizations are approved for this component. This form MUST be signed and stamped by the placement representative and submitted for approval by the JAMVAT office before commencement. New students must attach a certified copy of their acceptance letter (no more than 6 months old). Returning students must attach a status letter, and an official transcript with proof of GPA (no more than 6 months old). Tuition letter. Passport Size Picture.   Conditions Applicant must be between the ages of 18 & 35 on or before December 31 of the year of application. Applicant must be a Full Time student. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. Complete 200 service hours upon approval.   Any misleading/fraudulent information given will disqualify an applicant from accessing the programme.

Ministry of Education Math Science TVET Education and Engineering Scholarships (MSTVETT)

Criteria:  Valid evidence of Acceptance/Registration Letter from the institution you applied to (must be available at interview) Certified copies of transcripts or certificates Two (2) Reference Letters Two (2) Passport size photographs Certified copy of Birth Certificate Valid TRN Additional Information:  Will be bonded to teach in the Government Educational Institution for Five (5) years in the event they are pursuing a programme of study in education. Successful applicants pursuing programmes of study in courses outside of education will be bonded to work in Jamaica for five (5) years. Continuance of the Award is subject to the successful candidates’ satisfactory performance maintain a “B” average or a 3.0 GPA. Ministry of Education Scholarships

The Ministry of Education and Youth through its Tertiary Unit, will be accepting applications for its Tertiary Student Assistance Programme commencing in April 2023.  Under this programme, a number of scholarships and grants are available to tertiary level students accepted in universities and colleges across the island. Also, we will be accepting applications for the Emancipation Post Graduate Scholarship for the 2023/2024 academic year.  The scholarship is open to both males and females who have at least an Upper Second Class honours degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized University.  Candidates must be pursuing or about to pursue full-time graduate studies at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Mona or St. Augustine campuses in one of the following areas: Applied Technology in Agriculture Information Technology Economics Environmental Studies or Mathematics   Candidates will be required to download and complete the application form below and submit it with supporting documents to the Office of the Post Graduate Studies and Research, Cave Hill, Mona or St. Augustine Campuses, the University of the West Indies, no later than Friday, June 30, 2023, in order for their applications to be processed.  

Grace Fund Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIP SUMMARY: The Young Women and Men of Purpose’s (@ ywop.ymop) Founder’s Scholarship is here again for 2020! The scholarship is valued at $50,000 and is open ONLY to High School students who live and attend a High School in South-Central Jamaica (Manchester, Clarendon and St. Elizabeth) Jamaica. The Scholarship deadline will be May 21, 2021 The Founders scholarship is in honour of the founder of the The Young Women and Men of Purpose’s organization, Miss Lanisia Rhoden. The award is valued at J$50,000 and geared towards High School students in the South-Central Jamaica area of Manchester, Clarendon and St. Elizabeth. The Young Women and Men of Purpose Founders’ Scholarship is tenable for one (1) year at a High School in the named parishes of Manchester, Clarendon and or St. Elizabeth. The Young Women and Men of Purpose (YWOP and YMOP) is therefore inviting applications from qualified students. Completed Founders’ Scholarship application forms are invited from students enrolled in High Schools in the above named regions, who meet the requirements below. All successful scholarship applicants must be willing and agree to participate in YWOP/YMOP’s Mentoring Programme for one year if he or she is successfully selected to receive this Founders’ Scholarship.
