The Sylvia B. Kelly Medical Scholarship for Health Equity
Established in 2021 by the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP), this scholarship provides one $25,000 award to support a medical student who has a demonstrated interest in promoting health equity through reducing the Black maternal mortality gap. The recipient must be enrolled in an LCME-accredited U.S., MD-granting medical school, come from an historically underrepresented background, have demonstrated financial need, and will complete their fourth year of medical school during the coming academic year, with an anticipated graduation next spring. This award must be used towards tuition fees or debt repayment. Additionally, the selected scholar may be invited to attend the ACAP annual meeting (Summer) or other event to meet with members of Congress. Costs of reasonable travel and lodging will be covered by ACAP. Applications are currently closed.

Eligibility Requirements 1. Applicants under 30 years of age. 2. Final year students who are Accounting or Business Management Undergraduates
Pocket Rocket Scholarship
The Pocket Rocket Foundation Academic Scholarship is designed to help young athletes succeed in their academics and athletic pursuits. We offer annual scholarships to high school students who represent their school in any sporting discipline. These funds may be used to cover any academic expenses related to tuition, books, travel and lunch. Former recipients have continued to excel at the tertiary level with continued academic and sporting excellence.
